Jefferies Hires Head of CLO/CDO Trading

Jefferies has hired Sharif Anbar-Colas as its global head of CLO and CDO trading, an addition that is part of the firm's expansion of its fixed income business, the New York-based investment bank said today.
Anbar-Colas will be based in London and be responsible for all CLO and CDO trading. He will be part of Jefferies’ MBS/ABS group, which now has about 85 sales, trading and origination professionals.
Anbar-Colas was most recently head of European ABS and global CLO trading at Cohen & Co. He previously served with UBS as head of its global CDO trading. Prior to that, he worked in sales and trading for Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers.
