Deutsche Bank Hires Jefferies CDS Trader
May 26, 2010
Deutsche Bank has hired Jefferies trader Bob Keller for its global markets division, where he will trade cash and credit default swaps, the bank announced.
Keller will be based in New York and report to Masaya Okoshi, who heads investment-grade trading in the Americas. Keller was most recently a senior vice president in investment-grade cash trading at Jefferies and spent nine years as a director of investment-grade trading at Merrill Lynch.
Last month, Deutsche Bank announced it had promoted Faris Naber to head noninvestment-grade sales and cohead credit sales, the latter a position he will share with the bank's new head of high-grade credit sales, Casey Talbot (LFN, April 7, 2010). Talbot, who will start his new job this summer, joined from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was head of structured credit sales.
