BofA Adds Another: Neil Yaris From Credit Suisse
September 3, 2008
Neil Yaris, formly the head trader of high yield securities at Credit Suisse, is expected to join Bank of America in November as head of high yield sales and trading, BofA said. He will be based in New York and report to head of global credit sales and trading Frank Berritto.
Yaris had been with Credit Suisse since December of 2000. Previously, he was a managing director at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, and before DLJ he was a municipal and high yield bond trader at Goldman Sachs, where he began his career in 1986.
Yaris's position at Credit Suisse has been filled by Tim Brennan, who also remains head of high yield credit derivatives trading for the Americas, a source at the firm said.
Bank of America has been on a recruitment drive lately. David Flannery, a 15-year veteran of Deutsche Bank and its global head of debt capital markets, recently left the firm to join BofA. BofA also recently added two to its London-based capital markets group, which lost Alison Jenkins, a managing director and the euro trading head, last month.
